        The Black Moon Clan (called the Nega Moon or Dark Moon Family in the English Dub Version) appeared in Sailor Moon R, Season 2.5 (Japanese Episodes 60-89, English Dub Episodes 54-82) and Manga Vols. 4-7 Acts 14-23. Their mission was to take revenge against the people of Earth and Neo Queen Serenity, by traveling to the past and capturing the "Rabbit" (Chibi-usa/Rini) and the Ginzuishou (Silver Crystal).
        Members of the Black Moon Family: Wiseman/Death Fantom (Wiseman/Doom Phantom), Prince Demando (Prince Diamond), Saphir (Sapphire), Esmeraude (Emerald), Rubeus (Rubeus), The Four Sisters of Ayakashi (NegaMoon Sisters) [Kooan (Catzi), Beruche (Bertie), Calaveras (Avery), Petz (Prizma)], and the Droids. Also, Chibi-usa (Rini) was turned into the evil Black Lady (Wicked Lady).
        In 30th Century Crystal Tokyo, after waking from a deep sleep, Neo Queen Serenity used the Silver Crystal to heal the Earth and it's inhabitants. However, a group of people refused the healing and rebelled against Neo Queen Serenity. They lost the battle and were banished from the Earth. They traveled to the undiscovered tenth planet, Nemesis, and there they formed the Black Moon Clan under the influence of the Black Crystal.
        The members of the Black Moon Family never forgot their banishment and under the influence of Wiseman, an oracle, they returned to the Earth to seek revenge. The four guardians of the Queen (Mars, Venus, Jupiter & Mercury) used their power to create a force field around the palace. However, Neo Queen Serenity was attacked and, in order to save her, the Senshi used their power to incase her in a crystal shield. King Endymion was also hurt in the battle. Wanting to save her mother, Chibi-usa (Rini) took the Ginzuishou (Silver Crystal) and traveled back in time to 20th Century Tokyo, to ask for Sailormoon's help. The Black Moon Clan followed her into the past and tried to capture her and the Silver Crystal.
