Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S, Season 3

Introduction: This was the third season of Sailor Moon. This season expanded the plot and introduced more main characters. Although it did not include a preview episode, like the last season did, there were two episodes that were set after the final battle, with this season's enemy, giving it more of a conclusion and wrapping up loose ends.

Main Characters introduced: Sailor Mini Moon, Hotaru Tomo (Sailor Saturn), Amara (Sailor Uranus), Michelle (Sailor Neptune), and Trista (Sailor Pluto).

Villains Introduced: The Bad Behavior Bureau; Professor Tomo, Kaori Knight, The Witches 5 (Eudial, Mimet, Tellu, Viluy, Cyprine, and Ptilol), Mistress 9, Pharaoh 90, and the Heart Snatchers.

Summary: In this season, the villains were called the Bad Behavior Bureau and were led by Pharaoh 90, the mysterious ball of energy. Their job was to find the three talismans, to create the Chalice, and awaken the Soverign of Silence, so their leader, Pharaoh 90 could take over the world. Kaori Knight was first to collect Pure Heart Crystals, but she was believed to have died when she fell off of the roof during a battle. She was later found working at Tomo's house. After her first "death" Kaori Knight seemed a little quiet. She was later killed by Mistress 9. Eudial was the first of the Witches 5 shown. She took over after Kaori Knight. Eudial found out that Uranus and Neptune had the Talismans and took them, but she later lost them to the Scouts. Eudial drove a station wagon and took out heart crystals with a gun. Eudial was killed when Mimet destroyed the brakes in her station wagon. Mimet went to work after Eudial's death. She attacked her victims using the Heart Snatchers. Mimet was killed when she used a machine that Eudial built to make herself more powerful. Tellu came along and pulled the plug, killing Mimet. Tellu took over after she killed Mimet. She opened a plant shop and sold plants called Tellulu Flowers. The plants attacked and stole the heart crystals from the people who bought them. Tellu died when one of her plants attacked her. Viluy took over after Tellu. She was good at computers and disguised herself as a top student. She used a computer program/virus to take out heart crystals. However, Viluy's program/virus backfired and she died when it attacked her. Cyprine and Ptilol were twins and were considered one witch. Cyprine was the main twin witch. Ptilol was her shadow and came out when they fought the Scouts. The twins took over after Viluy. They were killed after their attacks were turned against each other. Professor Tomo became a part of the Bad Behavior Bureau when Hotaru was little. He was in his lab, along with Hotaru and a few other scientists, when an experiment went wrong and blew up, killing Hotaru. An evil entity appeared and told the professor that Hotaru could come back to life if he became a part of the Bad Behavior Bureau, Tomo agreed and a Heart Snatcher was placed in his body, making him evil. At the end of the series, his Heart Snatcher was destroyed and he began a new life with the reborn Hotaru. Mistress 9 was an entity that lived inside of Hotaru. She was called the Soverign of Silence. Mistress 9 was very powerful and killed Kaori Knight. Mistress 9's job was to find the Chalice to fully awaken their leader, Pharaoh 90. She was killed by Sailor Saturn/Hotaru. Pharaoh 90 was the leader of the Bad Behavior Bureau. It needed the Chalice to awaken and gain enough power to destroy/take over the world. Pharaoh 90 was destroyed when Sailor Saturn used her full power on it by giving up her life. After the final battle with Pharaoh 90, Hotaru was reborn and returned to live with her father.

Beginning & Ending: This season began with the appearance to two new soldiers, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. A new enemy attacked and tried to steal Pure Hearts from people, while searching for the three Talismans. Rini returned from the future as the Sailor Scout in training, Sailor Mini Moon. She soon made friends with Hotaru, a young, sickly girl. It was soon learned that Hotaru was under the control of the evil entity, Mistress 9, the Soverign of Silence. But it was then reveled that Hotaru had yet another identity; she was really the Sailor Soldier of Death and Rebirth, Sailor Saturn. In the end, the ten soldiers came together to defeat the enemy. Sailor Saturn, with the help of Sailor Moon, destroyed Pharaoh 90 for good.
